How to Participate
Oasis is not currently a finished product. It is at the stage of shaping the concept, finding people, testing hypotheses and preparing for the first real steps. Therefore, participation in the project does not necessarily mean buying, investing or moving. At the current stage, there are many simpler and useful ways to stay close to the idea and help it become clearer.
You can simply follow the development of the project. You can take part in discussions. You can suggest locations, share experience, ask questions, criticize weak points, help with translations, design, legal models, architecture, development, local contacts or promotion.
The main thing is to understand that Oasis is not being built as a closed club and not as a mandatory community for future residents. The community is needed now first of all so that the physical project can appear: to gather people, knowledge, resources, expertise, demand and practical scenarios.
Follow the Development of the Idea
The simplest way to participate is just to follow the project.
Not everyone needs to write, suggest, invest or take on a role right away. Sometimes it is enough to read the materials, observe how the concept develops, understand whether the atmosphere of the project feels close, and return to the idea when there is interest or an opportunity to get involved more deeply.
This also matters. The project needs not only active participants, but also people who gradually create attention, trust and demand around it. If the idea truly resonates with many people, this is already a signal that it is worth developing further.
Take Part in the Discussion
The next level is discussing the concept.
Oasis is currently open to refinement. There is a general spirit of the project: a network of small places around the world, nature, privacy, aesthetics, a quality environment, infrastructure, freedom of choice and no imposed social model. But many details still need to be thought through.
You can discuss:
- which Oasis formats are the most realistic;
- which countries and regions are suitable for the first locations;
- what scale the first project should have;
- how to combine privacy and shared spaces;
- which legal models are possible;
- how to make the project economically viable;
- what matters for families, remote specialists, guests and investors;
- which risks should be considered;
- which ideas sound good but work poorly in practice.
Good discussion is not just support. Sometimes a critical perspective is more useful than a compliment if it helps make the project more precise and realistic.
Suggest Locations
One of the most valuable ways to participate is to suggest potential places for the first Oasis locations.
These may be countries, regions, islands, coastal areas, mountain areas, plots near cities, existing properties that can be adapted, or partner projects where land, infrastructure or a local team already exist.
A good location is not only a beautiful view. It is important to consider:
- climate;
- legal conditions;
- availability of land or existing properties;
- visa and migration rules;
- transport and airports;
- access to healthcare, shops and services;
- internet and communications;
- safety;
- construction and maintenance costs;
- attitude of the local community;
- environmental restrictions;
- potential demand;
- the possibility of starting with a small pilot.
If a person has local knowledge, contacts or experience in a specific country, this can be very valuable.
Share Expertise
Oasis is a physical project, so it needs different kinds of expertise.
People who understand the following may be useful:
- architecture and design;
- development and construction;
- land and permits;
- local legislation;
- finance and investment models;
- real estate management;
- hospitality and service;
- tourism and long-term rental;
- coworking and community spaces;
- ecological solutions;
- internet and engineering infrastructure;
- marketing, branding and content;
- international relocation and visa questions;
- families, children, education and healthcare.
Even a short comment from a specialist can save months of wrong assumptions. At an early stage, it is especially important not to build a fantasy disconnected from reality.
Help Formulate the Concept
Sometimes participation may be not technical, but conceptual.
Oasis is still being formulated. It needs clear explanations of what the project is and what it is not. Why it is a network of small settlements, not one object. Why the community is important for implementation, but should not become a mandatory social model. Why privacy is just as important as communication. Why the project should not sound like a sect, a commune, a closed club or a promise of guaranteed profit.
If a person can write, edit, translate, structure ideas, ask precise questions or see weak points in wording, they can help make the project clearer.
This is especially important because Oasis should be open to people from different countries and cultures. That means clear texts, good translations and careful presentation of the idea without unnecessary pathos or ambiguity.
Help with Translations and International Presentation
Oasis is conceived from the beginning as an international network, so languages matter.
The Russian text can be the source of meaning, but the project should be understandable in English, Italian and later, possibly, in other languages. Translation here should not be mechanical. It is important to convey not only the words, but also the tone: calm, honest, open, without pressure and without promises that cannot be guaranteed.
If a person knows a language, culture or local context well, they can help adapt the materials so that they sound natural and do not create wrong associations.
Help with Design, Visual Presentation and Product
For the project, not only text matters, but also the visual feeling.
Oasis should not look like a random blog, an aggressive investment landing page or an esoteric community. Visually, it should communicate calm, nature, quality, trust, privacy, modernity and openness.
Designers, UX specialists, photographers, architects, 3D visualizers, brand designers, frontend developers and people who can turn a complex idea into a clear user experience can be useful here.
It is also important to think about product logic: which pages are needed, how to connect materials, where the CTA should be, how a person understands the next step, how to show the project both to those who want to participate and to those who simply may want to live or rest in Oasis in the future.
Participate as a Future Resident or Guest
Not all participation has to be professional.
People who are interested in Oasis as a future format for living, rest or work are very important. They help understand real demand: who needs this, in which countries, for what length of stay, with what budget, what level of privacy and what infrastructure.
You can simply say: "This idea feels close to me, I would like to live in such a place." Or: "I am interested in a format for 1-2 months." Or: "It is important to me that there is a school for children." Or: "I would consider buying, but only with a clear legal model." Or: "I need full privacy, without a social function."
Such answers help no less than expert opinions. They show for whom the project can truly be useful.
Participate as a Partner or Investor
At a certain stage, Oasis will require partnerships and capital.
But this should be approached carefully. Right now the project should not promise guaranteed returns or sell investments without a developed model. Investment, partnership and development scenarios should appear only where there is legal, financial and operational clarity.
Nevertheless, even now people may be useful if they are ready to discuss:
- pilot projects;
- land plots or existing properties;
- partnerships with developers;
- rental, sale or shared ownership models;
- legal structure;
- operational model;
- property management;
- long-term economics;
- risks and limitations.
Such participation should be sober and professional. Oasis should not be built on promises that cannot be guaranteed. It is better to move more slowly, but more honestly.
Participate Locally
If a person has a connection with a specific country or region, they can help locally.
For example, they can suggest which areas are suitable, what prices are realistic, how permits work, how local residents may react, where infrastructure is better, where risks exist, where similar formats already exist, who may be a reliable partner and what mistakes foreign projects often make.
Local knowledge is especially important because an idea that sounds beautiful from afar can face many practical nuances on the ground. The earlier these nuances become visible, the better.
What You Do Not Have to Do
To participate in Oasis, you do not have to immediately buy real estate, invest money, move, join a closed group or take on obligations.
You can stay close to the idea gradually.
You can first read. Then write a comment. Then suggest a contact. Then discuss a location. Then help with a text. Then, perhaps, become a guest, participant, partner or investor if a suitable format appears.
Participation should be voluntary and proportionate. Every person has their own level of interest, time, trust and possibilities.
The Main Point
There are many ways to participate in Oasis: follow, discuss, criticize, suggest locations, share expertise, help with texts, translations, design, legal questions, finance, architecture, local contacts or simply express interest in a future place.
Right now, the most important thing is to gather people who feel close to the atmosphere of the project and who can help make the idea clearer, more realistic and closer to physical implementation.
Oasis begins not with obligations, but with conversation, interest and gradual clarification of the shared idea. If this atmosphere feels close to you, you can join in the format that feels natural for you right now.
