Oasis Community rules
Oasis is being created for considerate connections and sharing experience. These rules apply to profiles, materials and conversations that begin in the community.
Respect other people’s choices
People may have different views, budgets, routes and ways of life. Discuss ideas without humiliation, threats, harassment or discrimination. Declining a conversation or meeting does not require an explanation.
Protect personal information
Do not publish someone else’s contacts, exact address, private messages or photographs without permission. Do not pass on profile information for advertising or mass mailing. A general account of family life is not a reason to disclose children’s information.
Be honest in your accounts
Distinguish your own experience, opinions and plans. Do not present someone else’s story as your own, an invented event as real or a concept as an operating project. Name your sources and respect authors’ rights.
Make agreements without pressure
Getting to know someone creates no obligation to help, buy, invest or join a shared undertaking. State commercial interests openly. Spam, persistent unsolicited offers and promises of guaranteed results have no place here.
Respect the places where you live
Consider local rules, people and nature. Do not encourage actions that harm others or infringe their rights. Personal experience does not remove the need to check the conditions relevant to your own decision.
Take part at your own pace
You can read, complete only part of your profile, change its visibility and withdraw optional subscriptions. Interest in Oasis Project is a separate choice. The rules do not require constant activity or a public profile.
If a problem arises
Stop unwanted communication and contact the organiser through the contact channel listed on the site. Share only information needed to consider the issue. The organiser reviews reports and may restrict participation when rules are broken; the outcome of a private dispute cannot be guaranteed in advance.
